Dr. Sanjay Correa is vice president of GE's CMC (Ceramic Matrix Composites) Program with applications in aircraft engines and heavy-duty gas turbines.
Correa has been with GE for 30 years. Prior to his current role, he served as vice president & managing director of the GE India Technology Center, headquartered in Bangalore, India. Earlier Correa has held a variety of leadership roles, including general manager for Engineering Technologies, general manager for the Fan, Compressor & Combustor Center of Excellence in GE Aviation; and global technology leader for Energy & Propulsion Technologies at GE's Global Research Center.
Correa holds a bachelor of science, master of science and PhD degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. He is a member of several professional societies and a co-leader of GE's Asian Pacific American Forum.
