John Godsman is general manager of Business Development for GE Aviation. In this role, John is responsible for accelerating the business' growth through strategic acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures across GE Aviation's engines, systems and services segments.

Godsman joined GE Aviation from the investment banking industry, where previously he was a managing director and global head of aerospace and defense for Deutsche Bank. Prior to this role, he was employed by Credit Suisse First Boston in its London office and led the European aerospace and defense coverage effort.

Godsman is a graduate of Dartmouth College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Government and an MBA with a concentration in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
