Shane M. Wright is chief financial officer for GE Aviation.

Wright joined GE in 1988 on the Financial Management Program. He then spent six years with the Corporate Audit Staff and held leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including Finance manager, Asia Pacific for Transportation; Finance manager, Asia, Europe and Africa for Energy; Financial Planning and Analysis manager for Oil & Gas; CFO, Property & Casualty for Insurance Solutions and CFO for Transportation.

Most recently, Wright served as Chief Financial Officer for GE Healthcare International. He was appointed to his current position and named officer of General Electric Company in 2008.

Wright received a Bachelor's degree in economics from Whitman College.
