Jeff Moll Appointed Director, Sales and Marketing for GE's Marine Gas Turbine Business
--EVENDALE, Ohio - GE Transportation has appointed Jeff Moll as director, sales and marketing, for the company's aeroderivative marine gas turbine business. Moll is responsible for leading the worldwide marketing and sales effort for GE's full line of LM marine gas turbines and main reduction gears.
Moll's career began in 1981 when he joined GE's Aircraft Engine business, and spent his first five years in a variety of design positions. As a member of GE's commercial product support team, he offered technical support of commercial customers operating GE's CF6 engines.
In 1996, Moll joined GE Engine Services and held several positions including management of multiple long-term service agreements. Prior to his current position in the marine gas turbine business, Moll was the sales support operations leader for Engine Services' overhaul, component repair and upgrades products. He provided worldwide commercial customers with services solutions to meet customized needs, while growing GE revenue.
Moll earned a Bachelor's of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University, and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati. He is a native of Iowa City, Iowa, and currently resides in the Cincinnati area with his wife Suzie and their two children.
