Sharing 81 percent parts commonality with the F110-100, the -129 offers significant mission advantages throughout the F-16 flight envelope.

The F110-GE-129 has also been the choice of the Turkish, Greek, Oman, Chilean and Japanese air forces to power their single engine F-2s.
The -129 is also qualified on the F-15 Strike Eagle and has been chosen by South Korea, Singapore and Saudi Arabia to power their F-15 fighters.
