Innova Aerospace signs OnPoint agreement with GE Aviation

EVENDALE, OH | May 22, 2017

Innova Aerospace has signed an OnPoint solution agreement for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of its GE H-Series engine fleet that powers their King Air 90 series aircraft.

The GE H-Series engine already offers Innova’s King Air operators a significant reduction in operating costs with no hot section inspection or recurrent fuel nozzle maintenance required. The GE OnPoint program provides even more value with 24/7 comprehensive engine support.

GE OnPoint will ensure Innova Aerospace customers retain the highest level of performance and residual value for their KingAir. GE OnPoint offers an extensive maintenance package, including optional OEM data analysis and diagnostics to help prevent downtime and delays. The OnPoint service contract is fully transferrable if an aircraft is sold, transferred or leased.

“We are honored to be the first to offer OnPoint for the H-Series engine. This solution allows us another opportunity to enhance our customer's value and provide them access to a greater level of engine support," said Greg Fedele, EVP of Corporate Development for Innova Aerospace.”

Every OnPoint agreement includes the same outstanding engine coverage:

  • Transportation of engines and line replaceable units (LRUs)
  • Loaner engines with removal and reinstallation
  • Line maintenance, including labor, troubleshooting, parts and consumables
  • Scheduled and unscheduled required engine maintenance, including labor, material, vendor repair, test and LRU repair
  • Overhaul, repair and/or exchange of LRUs
  • All life-limited parts (LLPs)

“We are excited that Innova has signed the first OnPoint deal for our H-series engines,” said Norman Baker, President & Managing Executive of GE Aviation Czech, which produces the GE H-Series. “We have a great relationship with the Innova team and it’s a tremendous opportunity to work on a platform like the KingAir. There is no higher level of care and maintenance that can be provided for the H80 engine than OnPoint.”

The H-Series turboprop family incorporates GE's 3-D aerodynamic design techniques and advanced materials to create a powerful, fuel-efficient, durable engine with no recurrent fuel nozzle inspections and no intermediate hot section inspection required for a multitude of uses: agricultural, business turboprops, commuter and utility aircraft. GE offers H Series turboprop engines with 4000-hour time between overhaul (TBO) for Agriculture, Utility and Business Aviation Aircraft. An extension program is also offered to extend TBOs for in-service engines.
