CF6-50 upgrades will reduce cost of ownership and maintenance expense. The Fan Speed Modifier Upgrade trims thrust margin to increase EGT margin, translating into an opportunity to keep engines on wing longer and reduce overhaul costs. The Hot Section Upgrade utilizes advanced materials and technology to address engine durability and reliability.
