Using only certified overhaul shops, GE Aviation delivers parts and components, coupled with productivity enhancing tracking and image technologies.
GE carefully selects engines and parts and makes additional investments in them to incorporate the highest repair standards. GE will then inspect all parts, scrapping any that do not meet the company's stringent quality requirements.
GE Aviation maintains an extensive inventory of parts and engines. By purchasing and disassembling engines, GE refurbishes parts to exacting standards thus ensuring that all overhauled material meets detailed work specifications.
Through GE used serviceable parts, customers get the speed and accuracy of our point-and-click part tracking system. In addition, GE Aviation offers a growing number of options to meet customer material needs including repurchase of runout engines, LRU and component exchange programs and whole engine sales.
