GE Aviation's materials business is a leading provider of airframe, engine and related spare parts. Formed when GE Aviation acquired certain assets of TPI Aviation Ltd., the operation is headquartered in Dallas, Texas.

The company maintains an inventory of aviation materials manufactured by companies such as CFMI, GE, Honeywell, IAE, Pratt & Whitney, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Rolls-Royce. All GE materials vendors are OEM-, FAA-, JAA- and/or Transport Canada-approved.

Today, the business provides world-class material solutions to an established and growing list of OEMs, airlines, overhaul facilities and parts distributors globally, as well as excellent short-term engine leasing programs.

Inventory is listed with various inventory electronic services, and parts can be ordered from GE's materials business or through AIRS Spec 2000.
