EVENDALE, OHIO – GE Aviation is partnering with StandardAero to offer advanced technical support for customers flying GE-powered aircraft to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. GE Aviation’s dedicated field service engineers in Brazil are also available 24/7 for extended support throughout the Summer Games.
StandardAero’s Turbo Fan (TFAN) Field Service Team, located in Tennessee, are on standby throughout the games, offering 24-hour dispatch support to provide services ranging from engine inspection, repairs and parts as needed for GE-powered aircraft.
In July 2016, StandardAero renewed its independent TRUEngineTM authorized maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) provider agreement for CF34 and CFM56* engines, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to OEM-quality engine maintenance. As an authorized TRUEngine MRO provider, CFM56 or CF34 engines overhauled by StandardAero are eligible for TRUEngine status, allowing the engine serial numbers to be included in the TRUEngine database made available to industry appraisers and potential buyers.
GE Aviation is expanding its service network for business and general aviation engines with more than 50 Authorized Service Centers for M601, H80 and CF34 engines. This network enables customers to have access to OEM-quality service and support around the world.
