GENEVA, SWITZERLAND | May 28, 2018

GE Aviation and Luxaviation have signed a collaborative agreement, making GE’s No. 1-rated OnPoint Business Jet Maintenance Solution program readily available to Luxaviation’s owners and operators worldwide.

The agreement makes GE Aviation the preferred engine service provider for Luxaviation’s owners and operators with CF34-powered aircraft. This includes Bombardier’s Challenger series, powered by GE’s CF34-3 engines, and the Embraer Lineage 1000 series, powered by GE’s CF34-10E.

“Luxaviation is in-synch with the unique needs of customers in the Business and General Aviation segment and so is GE’s OnPoint program,” said Brad Mottier, Vice President and General Manager of GE Aviation’s Business & General Aviation and Integrated Systems division. “We’re thrilled to team with Luxaviation, one of the largest private aviation operators worldwide. This program will provide multiple benefits for Luxaviation’s owners and operators.”

OnPoint is GE’s comprehensive service solutions offering. These customized service agreements are designed to help lower customers' cost of ownership and maximize the use of their assets. Backed by GE's global support network, OnPoint services include repair and overhaul, on wing support, new and used-serviceable parts, component repair, technology upgrades, engine leasing, integrated systems support and diagnostics and integrated systems.

GE Aviation has invested in digital tools like Prognostic Health Management PLUS (PHM+) which provides real-time enhanced engine prognostics plus C-FOQA Centerline to bring predictive capability and enhanced reliability to the engine.

“This agreement with GE Aviation brings forth important benefits to our operations and also excellent value for our customers,” said Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviatoin group. “GE’s OnPoint engine maintenance program is the optimal choice. We trust GE as the engine OEM because they have the design expertise coupled with a strong reputation in the industry and a worldwide network that provides us with the most effective and efficient support possible.”

OnPoint customers receive unique benefits not only during operation – where operators receive comprehensive coverage but also in the resale market. Based on third party valuations, the residual value of an aircraft powered by CF34-3 engines covered under GE’s OnPoint solution agreement is enhanced by $2 million. The OnPoint service contract is fully transferrable if an aircraft is sold, transferred or leased.

GE Aviation has been named the No. 1 service provider for business jet engine support. AIN magazine readers ranked GE Aviation No. 1 in its 2016 and 2017 Product Support Survey for business jets.

Across the CF34 family, GE has delivered more than 6,000 engines and continuously invests in product enhancements. Today, CF34 engines are in service with 200 operators in more than 70 countries.
