GE Aviation, named the No. 1 service provider for business jet engine support, is providing additional support for customers flying to Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis.

GE Aviation will dispatch its OnPoint Mobile Response Team in Minneapolis, beginning Friday, Feb 2. The OnPoint Mobile Response Team is equipped with diagnostic tools to support CF-34-powered Challenger* aircraft. This experienced team supports more than 75 mobile CF34 repairs per year. In addition to GE Aviation, the Bombardier Business Aircraft Customer Experience team will be ready to support GE-powered Challenger 600* series aircraft. Two dedicated Bombardier field service representatives, as well as two Bombardier Mobile Response Team vehicles, will be in the area. These vehicles carry state-of-the-art diagnostics tools supporting Learjet*, Challenger*, and Global* aircraft, as well as a wide array of equipment, and will be located approximately 30 minutes from any of the five surrounding airports in the area.

GE Aviation Fleet Support will also be available for around-the-clock assistance, providing a team of experts and a suite of resources as part of their commitment to timely and accurate resolutions.

The support and services provided by GE Aviation in Minneapolis are only part of the standard daily benefits for OnPoint Business Jet customers. GE’s comprehensive service solutions offering provides cost-effective protection against unexpected downtime. From program management and line maintenance to complete engine overhauls, GE’s OnPoint solutions covers all GE-powered business jets and customers with a growing global network of GE field representatives and Authorized Service Centers.

GE’s OnPoint solutions enable GE-powered business jets and customers to receive unique benefits not only during operation but also in the resale market. For example, based on third-party valuations, the residual value of an aircraft powered by CF34-3 engines covered under GE’s OnPoint solution agreement is enhanced by $2 million.

GE Aviation is seeing part of the impact of its commitment to Business and General Aviation service and support in industry surveys. AIN magazine readers ranked GE Aviation No. 1 in both the 2016 and 2017 Product Support Survey.
