EVENDALE, Ohio -- GE - Marine has appointed Brien R. Bolsinger as general manager, responsible for overall business leadership of GE's complete line of LM aeroderivative marine gas turbines and propulsion gears used in military and commercial marine applications. 



Prior to his current position, Bolsinger was general manager of GE Industrial Aeroderivative Gas Turbines in Evendale, Ohio. Bolsinger joined GE in 1982, and has held sales, marketing, business development, financial, and program management positions within GE Energy, GE Aviation, and the GE Corporate Audit Staff. He is also a Six Sigma master black belt. 



A native of Schenectady, New York, Bolsinger earned a bachelor's of science in mechanical engineering in 1982 from the University of New Hampshire in Durham. He currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife and two children.
