LAN Launches GE Aviation's myEnginesTM Digital Services New Digital Applications to Improve Fleet Management

FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW -- LAN Airlines has agreed to be the launch customer for GE Aviation's myEnginesTMdigital services, a new suite of digital applications to help customers better manage their engine fleets and improve productivity. The myEngines digital services will cover LAN's entire fleet of CF6-80C2, GE90-115B, CFM56-5B and –5C engines. 

"myEngines digital services deliver engine information and data through easy-to-use applications on a smart phone or desktop that can be accessed anytime and anywhere," said Tom Gentile, president and chief executive officer of GE Aviation Services. "With myEngines digital services, our customers can quickly review critical engine data and make real-time decisions regarding their fleet even if they are away from the office." 

myEngines digital services includes four main application suites that provide the following customer benefits: 

Overhaul: Track engines though the overhaul process at GE MRO facilities with instant access to reports, data and findings; interaction with GE technical experts on workscope; and real-time delivery status and updates to help optimize fleet planning. 

Material: Research and order urgently required new material and track delivery status online to minimize delays in response to aircraft on ground (AOGs) and other critical needs. 

Health: Monitor, trend and analyze critical engine parameters to better manage operating costs; and review and acknowledge health reports and notifications. 

Config: Access engine configurations to help with engineering decisions and verify engine compliance to applicable service bulletins and airworthiness directives. 

More than 10 digital applications are now available with an additional 30 applications in development.
