UPS Signs 10-Year OnPoint Solutions Agreement for Its CF6-80C2 Fleet

EVENDALE, OHIO -- UPS has signed a 10-year OnPointSM solutions agreement with GE Aviation for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of 142 CF6-80C2 engines that power its MD-11, Boeing 747-400, and 767-300 aircraft. The agreement is valued at approximately $1 billion (USD) over the 10-year period and extends an existing 15-year service agreement.

"The renewal of the OnPoint Solution will ensure UPS continues to receive the high-quality material and maintenance services that an OEM can provide."

These agreements are designed to help lower the customers' cost of ownership and maximize the use of their assets.
