Navigation databases include navigation data required for airline operation over defined route structures. The database includes waypoints, terminal and en route navaids, airport data, airway data, Standard Instrument Departure routes (SIDs), Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARs) and transitions as well as ”tailored” airline data such as company routes defined by a specific customer for a selected geographic area.
Navigation Databases for the GE Aerospace FMS are currently available from three data suppliers.

NDB Explorer creates aircraft loadable media, supports efficient procedure validation, and provides a top-down graphical lateral path of the procedures, airways, and company routes in your navigation database.
GE Aerospace holds Type 2 Letters of Acceptance (LOA) that certify our process for producing NDBs is compliant to the RTCA DO-200B and FAA AC20-153B standards.
The Adaptable Datalink Definition Tool allows Boeing 737 operators to define messages that airline flight controllers on the ground can use to send and receive messages to and from the FMS via Datalink. These definitions are saved in the Adaptable Datalink Database (ADDB) which is loaded to the FMS.
Licensing and use of the ADDT is free of charge. Contact Us to purchase an ADDB.
